Luis Serrano is the author of Grokking Machine Learning, and the creator of the popular educational YouTube channel Serrano.Academy, with over 150K followers. Luis has worked in artificial intelligence and language models at Cohere, Google, and Apple, and as a quantum AI research scientist at Zapata Computing. He has popular machine learning courses on platforms such as Udacity and Coursera. Luis has a PhD in mathematics from the University of Michigan, a masters and bachelors from the University of Waterloo, and did a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Quebec at Montreal.
