Description

At a time when AI increasingly writes our code, we can ask ourselves what the future of software engineering might look like. What if we looked at it as an opportunity to see our role evolve into one where we get to explore and innovate, rather than only implement? When was the last time you developed an interface that felt different from anything you’d created before?

AI is good at replicating things that already exist but humans are good at imagining what hasn’t been built yet.

As a research engineer, imagining and prototyping new interfaces and interactions is part of my everyday work, and in this talk, I want to share advice, tips and examples from my experience on how to cultivate creativity as a skill that will become increasingly critical.
